Co-Authors
Co-authors are the collaborators who appear alongside your researchers on shared articles — people who may not have their own full profile on your site, but whose name should still show up correctly in an article's author list. Manage them from Scholar Sync → Co-Authors.
Adding or editing a co-author
- Full Name (required)
- Short Name (required) — used to match this co-author against the author lists on imported articles. It's pre-filled from Full Name (honorific prefixes like "Dr." or "Prof." are dropped, and it becomes the first initial plus last name — e.g. "Jane A. Smith" → "J Smith") but you can edit it if needed.

Click Save Co-Author. Each Short Name must be unique — if one is already in use, you'll see an error and can adjust it before saving.
Editing or deleting
Use the Edit and Delete links on the Co-Authors list.
